Uses
What I actually use. Everything here comes from this site, my dotfiles or what I write about on the blog; if I can't back it up, it isn't listed.
This site
- Astro: Static output, almost no client-side JavaScript.
- Tailwind CSS: Styling with my own tokens for the terminal look.
- TypeScript: All the site code, checked on every build.
- Vitest y Playwright: Unit and e2e tests, run locally.
- Vercel: Hosting and deploys.
- Cloudinary: Hero images for the posts.
- Resend: Sends the contact form email.
Terminal and shell
- Ghostty: Terminal.
- Zellij: Multiplexer; each terminal window gets its own session.
- zsh: Shell, with plugins managed by Sheldon.
- Starship: Prompt.
- Atuin: Command history.
- zoxide y fzf: Jumping between folders and fuzzy search.
- GitHub CLI: Issues and pull requests from the terminal.
Languages and runtimes
- mise: Manages runtime versions and a few CLIs.
- Java: My day-to-day on the backend.
- Node.js y pnpm: For this site and the JavaScript projects.
- Go: Installed for side projects.
- Vercel CLI: Deploys and config from the terminal.
Agents
- Claude Code: My daily coding agent, with subagents and one git worktree per implementation.
- OpenSpec: Each change's tasks live in a versioned checklist.
- skeptic-agents: My MIT-licensed skill set for checking what agents claim.
The full workflow is written up in this post.
Some things are left out on purpose, like the editor and hardware, because I don't want to list anything I can't stand behind.
