WealthSim
Compound interest calculator for iPhone
About the app
WealthSim estimates how your monthly contributions could grow at your chosen rate of return, and separates what you put in from what interest adds.
It started as a web calculator and is now a native iOS app too: no account, your scenarios in your own iCloud.
For anyone who puts money aside every month, into an investment or a savings account, and wants to see where that pace leads. Then check month by month whether they're ahead of or behind their plan.
## Calculate
- Initial capital, monthly contribution, years and return
- Yearly bars that mark when interest overtakes what you put in
- Fees and inflation, with the result in today's money
## My plan
- Turn a projection into a goal with an amount and a date
- Log your real balance each month and compare it with the route
- If you fall behind, see how much more a month gets you back
## Pro
- 100 possible futures from real market years
- Compare up to three plans side by side
- SwiftUI
- SwiftData
- iCloud
- StoreKit
FAQ
Is WealthSim free?
Yes. The free version includes the calculator and My plan, with ads. Pro adds a hundred possible futures simulated from real market years and side-by-side comparison of up to three plans.
Where are my scenarios stored?
On your iPhone, synced to your private iCloud. No account or sign-up needed.
Is this financial advice?
No. WealthSim projects at the rate of return you choose. It's an estimate, not a market prediction or an investment recommendation.
Is there a web version?
Yes. WealthSim started as a web calculator at wealthsim.app. The native app needs an iPhone running iOS 18 or later.
Install
WealthSim is free on the App Store, with no account and no sign-up.

- WealthSim: correct maths, a frustrating first session
WealthSim's preset and calculator disagreed. Fixing preview inputs, early ads and a disappearing result led to My Plan, with retention still unproven.
